Ian Murray AUS and his team, Etchells World Champion 1984, leads after the first two races at the 2019 Etchells World Championship in Corpus Christi TX with the day ranks 1 and 2. Jose Fuentes USA on 2nd and Steve Benjamin USA on 3rd follow 5, respecitvely 6 points behind. Racing in the 37 boat fleet from 5 continents remains close with the first five boats all posting top ten scores.
Overcast skies and a breeze around 15kn prevailed, decreasing during the races.
Nine races are scheduled from June 25 to 29, to be followed (or replayed) over GPS tracking.
