Various Classes - Fastnet Race - Cowes GBR - Day 1

Light winds prevailed at the start of the 600nm 2019 Fastnet Race yesterday in Cowes GBR with the Multihulls as first at 12:30 UTC, obviously still leading the fleet this morning UTC. ----- 'Edmond de Rothschild' (Franck Cammas FRA/Charles Caudrelier FRA) was first by a small margin ahead of 'Macif' (François Gabart FRA). Thomas Coville FRA followed on 3rd with his 'Sodebo'. Clear situation in the Monohulls as well. The 100-Foot-Maxi 'Scallywag' with David Witt AUS was 10nm ahead of the VOR70 'Wizard' with Charlie Enright USA. On rank 3 followed 'Rambler88' with George David USA. ----- The leading boats will round the Fastnet Rock during this morning.
