IMOCA Open 60 - Défi Azimut - Lorient FRA - Day 1, Alan Roura SUI

Yesterday, the start to the Défi Azimut, a two-day 660nm course off Lorient FRA, was given for the 22 two-person teams on IMOCA Open-60s, most of them modern foiling designs. ----- On the first position after 12 hours in steady rear winds Jérémy Béyou FRA/Christopher Pratt GBR ('Charal') 5nm ahead of '11th hour' with Charlie Enright USA/Pascal Bidégorry FRA. Already 20nm back are Kevin Escoffier/Nicolas Lunven FRA on rank 3. ----- The first hours for 'La Fabrique' with Alan Roura SUI/Sébastien Audigane FRA were not satisfactory.
