Optimist - Asia & Oceania Championship 2019 - Muscat OMN - Day 1

Another important event of the Optimist Class has been underway since yesterday in Oman: the combined Asian and Oceanic Championship with over 200 participants from 21 nations, among them also boats from Brazil, Finland, Turkey and the USA. ----- After the three races of the opening day, Thailand dominated as to expect with Panwa Boonnak THA on first, followed by Weka Bhanubandh THA and Patiha Vorrasart THA. ------ Unfortunately, neither the event website nor the facebook page contains a ranking list. However, an explicit illustrated report has been posted. ----- The Championship continues until Sunday, October 6.
