After two light-wind days, the wind situation changed substatially at the Laser Radial Worlds in Sandringham AUS with thunderstorms yesterday and 16-18kn wind today Wednesday. The fresher breeze was the preferred turf for the Olympic Champion Marit Bouwmeester NED, winning the races 3 to 6 and taking the overall lead 10 points ahead of Emma Plaesschart BEL on 2nd, one point ahead of Anne-Marie Rindom DEN 3rd who was also in difficulites in the stronger winds. ----- Maud Jayet SUI limited the damage and is still on rank 6, but now with a deficit of 11 points on rank 3. ----- The Qualification Series have now been concluded and the top-half of the fleet, cut at rank 53, will continue the Championship in the Goldfleet, the other half in the Silverfleet. ----- The results. ----- The Radial Men completed only one race with Daniel Krutskikh RUS still on top. Gustavo Correa BRA is new on rank 2. ----- The results Radial Men.
