Trophée Jules Verne - Day 3

After two days of their record attempts, 'Sodebo' (Thomas Coville FRA) and 'Gitana' (Charles Caudrelier FRA, Franck Cammas FRA) have already reached the Canary Islands. Both trimarans have covered more than 750 miles in the past 24 hours, and the average speed is over 31kn (60 km/h), extending their lead over the record to over 120nm in the well-established trade winds.
