Yesterday, the first two races of the Optimist European Championship Final Series were sailed on the Black Sea.
The Swiss girls performed well again. Natascha Rast SUI finished 2nd in the first race and is now on rank 8 overall. With a 13 points' backlog, she remains in the race for a Medal in the last races today. Splendid Swiss performance also in the second race with Anja Camusso SUI and Viktoria Jedlinska SUI on the ranks 2 and 3. Both moved up in the overall rankings and are now 16th (Viktoria Jedlinska SUI) and 24th (Anja Camusso SUI) among the 120 Girls. The ranking list.
In the Boys' Goldfleet, Nilo Schärer SUI moved up 3 places and is now 31st. Sailing in the Boys' Silverfleet, Simon Kaiser SUI is now on top (= 52nd overall). Boris Hirsch SUI advanced on rank 4 (= 56th) and Alexandre Grognuz SUI winning race is now on the 10th position (= 61st).
