As planned, François Gabart FRA is being propelled East by the prevailing frontal system. However, the rough sea is prompting him to somewhat slow down his trimaran, but with an Etmal of 653nm, he remains on a record pace. Admittedly, he lost some miles on the record of Thomas Coville FRA as the weather conditions lead to a more northerly, longer course. Today, Gabart will reach the Pazific Ocean, still with a steady 30-40kn wind.
