An approaching storm depression inhibited sailing on the final day of the Trofeo Ciutat de Palma. Therefore, the previous year's winner Malthe Ebtrup DEN defended his title in the Optimists succsessfully. Maxime Thommen SUI finished 2nd 2 points behind. On rank 3 followed Pau Mesquida ESP. The best girl Maria Perello ESP followed on rank 4. 261 Optimists participated.
The other classes were all-Spanish.
