Nacra 17, 49er, 49erFX - Grand Prix - Vilamoura POR - Day 1

Yesterday, the Olympic High-Performnce Classes began their Grand Prix in Vilamoura in the South of Portugal in good-quality fleets.
In fresh winds at the upper limit, Diego Botin/Iago Lopez ESP won all three races in the 49ers. Michael Kiss/Ian Barrows USA followed 4 points bewind on rank 2. Sébastien Schneiter/Lucien Cujean SUI are on the excellent 3rd place among the 48 teams from 17 nations. Numerous teams refrained from starting due to the big breeze.
In the 49erFX, Annemiek Bekkering/Annette Duetz NED won both heats of the day. Sophie Weguelin/Sophie Ainsworth GBR and Tina Lutz/Susann Beucke GER followed on the ranks 2 and 3.
In the Nacras 17, Lin Cenholt/Christian Lübeck DEN are the interim's leaders after 2 races. Rosengren/Svensson SWE and Saxton/Aldridge GBR follow on the ranks 2 and 3.
