Around-the-world-Record - Trophée Jules Verne - Code Green for 'Spindrift Racing'

For two and a half months, Yann Guichard FRA and his 'Spindrift' team have been waiting for a suitable weather window for their nonstop round-the-world record attempt. Now a favorable weather situation seems to develop, and 'Code Green', which means as much as start within the next 2 days, has been announced. Guichard on his giant 140-foot multihull currently plans to cross the the virtual starting between Créac'h lighthouse on Ushant Island FRA and the Lizard lighthouse GBR between midnight and three o’clock on January 16 to attack the record of 40 days 23 hours held by Francis Joyon FRA since 2017.
