Around the World Record - Trophée Jules Verne - Day 2 - 'Spindrift' well underway

After a fulminant start in best sailing conditions, the Maxi-Trimaran 'Spindrift' racing South entered a zone with less wind at the Madeira latitude and was somewhat decelerated. However, having crossed 1290nm in 40 hours, Yann Guichard FRA and his team still have a 98nm advantage on the previous record.
