 Class 40 - Transat Niji40 - Belle-Ile-de-Mer FRA - Day 12 The fleet sailing in the north with north-westerly winds reached fresh winds again yesterday, with 800 miles to finish. These are likely to be much tougher to cross, as there is now the threat of a big lull until the finish. The two runaways in the south sail at good speeds in the trade winds, carrying them to the finish. Their gap yesterday remained stable at 1,000 miles. Global Solo Challenge - La Coruna ESP - Cole Brauer USA first US women to sail nonstop around the world

The Global Solo Challenge - the non-stop solo round-the-world race for amateurs - is in its final phase: Andrea Mura ITA reached the finish line in La Coruna ESP last week in 3rd place. Winner Philippe Delamare FRA finished the race at the end of February, followed by Cole Brauer USA in second place on 7 March with her Class 40. At 29 years old, the American was the youngest participant and the only woman in the fleet of 16 competitors. She is the first American woman to complete a solo non-stop circumnavigation, which caused a sensation in the USA. She would now also like to be at the start of the Vendée Globe in November.  Figaro 3 - Solo Guy Cotten - Concarneau FRA - Day 5 The 3rd and final leg of the Solo Guy Cotten came to an end in Concarneau yesterday morning. ----- With his second leg victory, Loïs Berrehar FRA was the superior winner, with Alexis Loison FRA and Jules Delpeche FRA taking the honours.  Ultim Trimaran - Arkea Ultim Challenge - Brest FRA - Day 67/Final Day Yesterday afternoon, Eric Péron FRA also reached the finish of the Ultime Challenge in Brest with his Adagio, 17 days after winner Charles Caudrelier FRA. For Péron, who was the only one traveling on a conventional trimaran without foils, this was his first-ever circumnavigation of the globe! This morning, the closely bunched fleet sailed around a third of the 370-mile course in the south of Brittany. Leading the overall standings is Loïs Berrehar FRA, followed one mile behind by Alexis Loison FRA. Gaston Morvan FRA, winner of the second leg, retired early after a collision with a leak.  Ultim Trimaran - Arkea Ultim Challenge - Brest FRA - Day 65 After 64 days and one hour, Anthony Marchand FRA with his 'Actual' reached the finish line in Brest yesterday afternoon in 4th place. Although he had to sail without his foils since the Pacific, he achieved an average speed of 19.48 knots. Eric Péron FRA ('Adagio') is the last to finish. He is currently benefiting from an exceptional weather situation with fresh, aft-southerly winds that are bringing him quickly to Brest.  Figaro 3 - Solo Guy Cotten - Concarneau FRA - Day 1 The French single-handed annual championship, a series of single-handed regattas, began yesterday with the Solo Guy Cotten, culminating in the Solitaire du Figaro in August. A first 33-mile coastal race was on the program yesterday. ----- Loïs Berrehar FRA won in fresh winds, while Anaelle Patusch SUI, who was sailing for the first time in the class, came 29th out of the 35 participants from 3 nations.
