Olympic Classes - World Sailing Midyear Meeting - London GBR - Final results

Olympic Classes - World Sailing Midyear Meeting - London GBR - Final results As we reported yesterday, the World Sailing Midyear Meeting came to an end yesterday with a compromising-looking decision in favor of Submission M22, retaining five of the ten Olympic Events (Laser Standard, Laser Radial, 49er, 49erFX, Nacra-17). Windsurfing men and women will remain as well, to be decided on what board and with/without foils. Three events have still to be defined: for the Finn, a "mixed singlehanded event" (men 100kg, women 70kg), for the 470 a "Mixed two-person Dinghy event and a "Mixed Kite" event.
Hot discussions will continue until the final decision World Sailing Annual Meeting in Sarasota/Floriad USA in November.
