Fresh winds again during day 3 of the SOF at Hyères, and especially the Radials had a hard day. Arriving at 9 a.m. in the race area 4 miles off the coast, the breeze was too strong and the Laser women were sent back ashore. It was again Allison Young GBR mastering the difficult conditions the best with the day ranks 1 and 2 defending rank 1 in the Radials 3 points ahead of Krystal Weir AUS and Marit Bouwmeester NED.
In the Lasers Standard, Philipp Buhl GER is now on the first position after the discard, just one point ahead of the quartet Andrew Murdoch NZL, Tom Slingsby AUS, Tonci Stipanovic CRO and Tom Burton AUS.
Racing will continue in Gold- and Silverfleets as from today. The wind forecast shall be moderate for the first time today Wednesday, but already tomorrow, the wind will change to a fresh Easterly. All results, the report of the day and the videos.
