Laser Radial - World Championship 2016 - Dun Laoghaire IRL - Final results

The Laser Radial Youth and Men World Championship on Dublin Bay was concluded yesterday with the last races. As on the previous days, racing was very challenging with unconstant winds from the shore.
Henry Marshall USA had the situation under control and defended his first place in the Youth Boys with a 5 points' advantage ahead of Ewan McMahon IRL. The Bronze medal went to Bernie Chin SIN. Caroline Rosmo NOR lost the title in the Youth Girls with a premature start in the final heat. Zoe Thomson AUS is the new World Champion ahead of the Norvegian. Loise Cervera FRA climbed on rank 3 on the last day of the Championship.
Marcin Rudawski POL had perfect last day in the Radial Men and grasped another title with a big lead ahead of Nik Pletikos SLO and Martin Lowy BRA on the rank 2 and 3.
