Finn World Championship 2010 San Francisco USA Day 3 Wright GBR on a roll
Discard time at the Finn Gold Cup in San Francisco where another two races were added in glorious sunshine, starting in mellow breeze that grew more robust during the afternoon. Continuing where he left off on Tuesday, Ed Wright GBR scored another bullet and later added a 3rd place to assume the top spot of the standings with a cozy 13-point cushion. In 2nd Rafa Trujillo ESP, who rebounded from a sub-par Day 2 just ahead of the next Brit Giles Scott. Wright and Trujillo now account for five bullets in those six races. Thomas Le Breton FRA and Zach Railey USA, who held 1st and 2nd Tuesday, slipped off the podium despite consistent sailing but without bullets yet. However, they are close, at least to silver and bronze, or to pounce on the moment when Ed Wright decides to become a mere mortal again. The official report and the Finn YouTube channel with some iPhone videos from yesterday’s races.
