A light breeze prevailed at the beginning, increasing to 12-15 kn during the races 9 and 10 sailed yesterday. To more races are on the program today, the last day of the Championships.
Erika Reineke USA has an 18 points' lead in the Radial Girls and is almost thru for the title. The second-ranked Hannah Tilley GBR has also a safe advantage, but the fight for the Bronze Medal will be tight, as behind the 3rd Oren Jacob ISR, there are 5 girls within 10 points. The 4th Manami Doi JPN is only 2 pts from the podium. Nigina Römer SUI follows on rank 36 of the 99 participants.
The suspense is on in the Radial-Boys, where Eliot Merceron FRA defended the first place yesterday, but with the day ranks 1 and 5, Mitchell Kiss USA came back strongly and is now as 2nd only 2 points behind the leader. Giovanni Coccoluto ITA follows another 2 points back and is definitely in the title race, as are Eliott Hanson GBR and Juan-Carlos Perdomo PUR. Lucien Riat SUI lost some places and is now 41st.
