IMOCA Open 60, Class 40, Multi 50 Transat Jacques Vabre Day 16
280 miles to go to the finish in Puerto Limon at the Costa Rican coast for the leading Open 60 'Virbac-Paprec' with Jérémy Béyou/Jean-Pierre Dick FRA this morning. No doubt about their victory at the Transat Jacques Vabre, already the third for Jean-Pierre Dick. Their lead on 'Hugo Boss' (Thomson GBR/Altadill ESP) is 140 miles. Same situation in the Class 40, where Yannick Bestaven/Eric Drouglazet FRA are clearly on a winning home straight with a 142 miles lead, and even more in the Multi 50 with Yves Le Blevec/Samuel Manuard FRA on their 'Actual' 340 miles ahead. The race goes on for the remaining places on the podium of the Open 60, where 'Banque Populaire' and 'Macif' on the ranks 3 and 4 are separated by 8 miles only. The first Open 60s are expected in Costa Rica tomorrow. The race-viewer, the report of the day and the videos of the day.
