Light airs in the morning caused a delayed start to racing on the first day of the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games. But in the afternoon two races were held back to back as scheduled. In the Bytes CII boys, Just van Aanholt AHO (3) had a 2-1 score to lead Gonzalo Pires POR (9) and Kaarle Tapper FIN (11). In the Bytes CII Girls Constanze Stolz GER (3) leads Lara Vadlau AUT (6) and Alexandra Rayroux SUI (6). In the Windsurfing divisions, which are sailed on Tecno 293 boards the top three boys are Martin Kieran GBR (3) Mayan Rafic ISR (6) and Michael Cheng HKG (7). Tight racing in the girls with the top three, Audrey Yong SIN, Naomi Cohen ISR and Veronica Fanciulli ITA, all on five points.
The start for Day 2 was delayed as dark clouds were moving in. The report and the results.
