The Semaine Olympique - the fourth ISAF World Cup event 2011 - begins today in the Bay of Hyères with a record participation of 1200 sailors from 63 nations. After four training days with a fresh Easterly wind, the forecasts announce a decrease during this Sunday with 12 kn around noon deminishing to 6 kn late in the afternoon. The remainder of the week will not be much windier. A number of teams start with their 2012 Olympics selection, e.g. France, where the former Swiss Olympian and last year's Hyères 470 women's winner Emmanuelle Rol SUI/FRA, starting now for France, will face a strong competition from within the French team. To mention among the competitors the super-stars and multiple Olympic and World Champions Ben Ainslie GBR (Finn), Torben Grael/Marcello Ferreira BRA (Star) and Robert Scheidt/Bruno Prada BRA (Star).
