Sail Auckland ended today in light winds. The week-long leader of the RS:X-male windsurfers had a disaster day, as with a premature start and an 8th place, he dropped on rank 3 behind the winner Tae Hoon Lee KOR and the close second-ranked World Champion Dorian Van Rijsselberge NED coming back strongly with two race wins on the last day. The clear winner in the RS:X-women was Jessica Crisp AUS. Winner in the Lasers Standard is Andrew Murdoch NZL, with a clear advantage over Jee Min Ha KOR. Rutger Van Schaardenburg NED is on the 3rd place. Sarah Winter NZL dominated her male opponents in the Lasers Radial. With 9 wins in 9 races, Matt Coutts NZL was a class of his own in the Finns. In the 470 Open, it was the New Zealand Olympia team Paul Snow-Hansen/Jason Saunders NZL winning ahead of Jo Aleh/Olivia Powrie NZL. As second-best female team, the Olympic Champions Elise Rechichi/Belinda Stowell AUS follow on rank 6. Due to the limited participation, the 29er and 49er regattas ended as 'match races' with Blair/Tuke NZL as first in the 49ers and Rippey/Munro NZL winning in the 29ers.
