 29er - European Championship - Arco ITA - Final results The 29er European Championship on Lake Garda was concluded yesterday with two morning Northwind races and the champions title went to Ewan Wilson/Finley Armstrong GBR ahead of Freya Black/James Grummet GBR and Mathias Berhet/Alexander Franks NOR. Sailing in the Bronzefleet, Yoann Senften/Yoann Stettler SUI finished on rank 4 (= 104th overall), Kaifun Shen/Benoît Leuenberger SUI are on rank 126 among the 210 teams. ----- The final results.

 Laser Standard & Radial - U21 European Championship - Dzwinow POL - Day 3 Sun and moderate winds prevailed on the third day of the Laser U21 Europeans and both fleets sailed two races, the Boys completing the qualification phase for the split in Gold- and Silverfleets. ----- Alexandre Boite FRA remains on top overall, joined by Vishnu Saravanan IND at equal points. Maor Benharoch ISR follows on rank 3. Jacopo Scornaienghi SUI, down on 52nd after a premature start disqualification, and Nicolas Rolaz SUI as 60th qualified for the Goldfleet (best 68) as well.  Engadin Surf Marathon - Silvaplana SUI - Final results Overcast skies and an not to strong Maloja wind prevailed yesterday during the traditional Engadine Surf Marathon in its 42nd edition (the inaugural event in 1978 saw Robby Naish USA as winner at the age of 15 !). ----- The first ones to cross the finish line were the Kiteboarders, but the ranking list has not yet been posted. ----- In the Windfoilers, Julien Bontemps FRA (Olympia Silver 2008) finished first ahead of Elia Columbo SUI 2nd and Oel Pouliquen FRA 3rd.  A-Cat - World Championship 2019 - Weymouth GBR - first races today Today is day one of the A-Cat World Championship in Weymouth GBR with 91 participants, split in two fleets: the Classics and the Foilers. In absence of the ten-times World Champion and Foiling king Glenn Ashby AUS, Steve Brewin AUS, Mischa Hemskeerk NED and Bruce Mahoney USA, the trio dominating the British Nationals finished three days ago, are the favorites for the Foiler Worlds.  Optimist, Laser 4.7 & Radial, 420 - Regio-Cup Zentralschweiz - RV Brunnen Good fleets participated in the 3rd Round of the Central Switzerland Youth Championship in Brunnen and good conditions prevailed on Lake Uri, allowing all classes to complete six races. ----- In the 41-boat Optimist Class, Samuel Berther SCC finished first ahead of Lorin Kuhn DRRS and Damian Berther SCC. Remo Steimann SCH was on top of the 9 Lasers Radial. In the Laser 4.7, Andrea Dubois BT from Lake Bienne dominated winning 5 of the 6 races. In winds between 0 and 17kn, Thomas Hasler SKS on a Longtze finished first in the Racers 1. Winner in the Racers 2 was Michael Eichmann YTL on a J/80. In the Open Racers, Andreas Zimmerli RVB was on rank 1. The SRS-Cruiser belongs to Simon Spiller SKS, a Granada 31. Laser 4.7 - Youth World Championship 2019 - Kingston CAN - Day 5 - Anja Von Allmen SUI and Niccolo Nordera ITA are premature World Champions !

 Laser 4.7 - Youth World Championship 2019 - Kingston CAN - Day 5 - Anja Von Allmen SUI and Niccolo Nordera ITA are premature World Champions ! Good, but challenging wind conditions prevailed - the breeze was oscillating not only in direction but also strength (8-14kn) - , allowing to complete three races per fleet in Kingston CAN, so that there is only one race left today, Friday. ----- With the day ranks 1/2/2, Anja Von Allmen SUI extended her lead in the Laser 4.7 Girls on 23 points and can not be overtaken, as her discard result is a 12th place. On the rank 2 and 3 follow Lara Himmes ESP and Sara Savelli ITA. ----- The Champion is known prematurely also in the Boys, where Niccolo Nordera ITA has a 19 point lead with a 15th as discard. All but the 470 women Medal Races were abandoned because of insufficient wind. ------ Camille Lecointre/Aloise Retornaz FRA finished first again and are the superior winners in the 470 woman ahead of Hannah Mills/Eilidh McIntyre GBR and Agnieszka Skrzypulec/Jolanta Ogar POL. As expected Yunxiu Lu CHN was able to hold the top of the RS:X-Windsurf women. Thanks to victory in the Medal Race Charline Picon FRA replaced Katy Spychakov ISR on rank 2. Chinese victory in the RS:X-Windsurfer men as well: Mengfan Gao CHN won ahead of Mattia Camboni ITA and Piotr Myszka POL. In the 49er the Olympic winners Peter Burling/Blair Tuke NZL won ahead of Lukasz Prszybitek/Pawel Kolodzinski POL and Dylan Fletcher/Stuart Bithell GBR.  RSAero - European Championship 2019 - Malcesine ITA - Day 2 Last Tuesday, the Youth European Championship of the RSAero, a boat sailed above all in Great Britain, began on Lake Garda with the fleet split in three groups with different rigs. 110 participants from 16 nations and 3 continents participate. ----- In the largest fleet with 63 entrants, the RSAero-7, Craig Wilson GBR is leading ahead of Peter Barton GBR and Paul McMahon IRL.  SRS - La Sirène - BT La Neuveville Last Sunday, 15 boats participated in the 'Sirène' regatta on Lake Bienne despite of very light varying wind, surprising already at the start with a 180° shift forcing the teams to cross the line with spinnakers up. ----- Lukas Schaub with his Luthi 870 took the line honours.  Breaking News: Olympic Test Event - Enoshima JPN - Day 5 - Noon update - Part 1 The races of the day in Japan are over, the first half of the 10 Olympic classes have finished their competitions. As expected Yunxiu Lu CHN was able to hold the top of the RS:X-Windsurf women. Thanks to victory in the Medal Race Charline Picon FRA replaced Katy Spychakov ISR on rank 2. Chinese victory in the RS:X-Windsurfer men as well: Mengfan Gao CHN won ahead of Mattia Camboni ITA and Piotr Myszka POL. In the 49er the Olympic winners Peter Burling/Blair Tuke NZL won ahead of Lukasz Prszybitek/Pawel Kolodzinski POL and Dylan Fletcher/Stuart Bithell GBR. Chnges on the podium of the 49erFX: Martine Grael/Kahena Kunze BRA won gold ahead of Marie Roningen/Helene Naess NOR, Charlotte Dobson/Saskia Tidey GBR fell back to rank 3. Olympic Test Event - Enoshima JPN - Day 4/Part 1 - First medals decided

In Enoshima, the skiffs, the windsurfers and the Nacra 17 have finished their qualifications for the Medal Races of today. The first medallists are already fixed: Yunxiu Lu CHN leads the RS:X-Windsurf women by 17 points and has a medal for sure. Katy Spychakov ISR could overtake her theoretically as the only one. There will probably be a Chinese victory in the RS:X-Windsurfer men as well, the lead of Mengfan Gao CHN is 16 points. In the Nacra-17-Catamarans, Ruggero Tita/Caterina Banti ITA are only 2 points ahead of John Gimson/Anna Burnett GBR. In 49er the Olympic champions Peter Burling/Blair Tuke NZL lead with 13 points.  Olympic Test Event - Enoshima JPN - Day 4 - the Swiss - Mateo Sanz-Lanz in Medal Race Yesterday, Matteo Sanz-Lanz SUI qualified for the Medal Race in the RS:X men windsurfers of today. On rank 7, he is 12 points behind the podium. Sébastien Schneiter/Lucien Cujean SUI on rank 11 missed the Medal Race in the 49ers by one point. Well positioned is Eliot Merceron SUI as 10th in the Lasers Standard, but the fight for the Medal Race cut will be very fierce, as the ranks 10-14 are separated by 3 points only, and not to forget, that big names such as the World Champion Pavlos Kontides CYP and the Olympic medalist Tonci Stipanovic CRO are behind as well.  Diverse Klassen - Old Fashion Race - Zürcher YC Good participation at the traditional Old-Fashion Race on Lake Zurich.
