All important 2010 Grade-1-Events have been sailed by now and the ISAF Worldrankings gives a good overview on the potential of major sailing nations. This latest edition indicates changes in some classes. Delle-Karth/Resch AUT are back on top of the 49ers, Raffael Trujillo ESP is the new number 1 in the Finns, Tom Slingsby AUS did regain the top in the Lasers after his victory in the World Championship, Marit Bouwmeester NED is for the first time on top of the Laser Radial and also the men Windsurfers have a new name - Nimrod Masiah ISR - on the prime place, whereas in the women windsurfers, it is Blanca Manchon ESP who is now the leader.
All Swiss have lost positions because of worse results than in previous years and due to absences for different reasons. Marazzi/De Maria SUI are now on the 7th rank in the Starboats, Nathalie Brugger SUI is also 7th with the Lasers Radial. Only in the 470s, improvements have been made. In the men's rankings, Yannick Brauchli/Romuald Hausser on the 88th position have reached the top-100 for the first time. In the female rankings - the former Swiss Olympian Emmanuelle Rol now sailing for France in on rank 2 - Stèphanie and Romy Hasler advanced on the 35th place.
