The Olympic Laser Radial women started their 2016 World Championship in Nueva Vallarte MEX with two races.
Erika Reineke USA, finishing 2 and 3 in her Group, is the first overall leader. Surprising 2nd is Isabella Maegli GUA (1/5) and on rank 3 follows the Olympic Champion Lijia Xu CHN. Andrea Nordquist SUI on rank 60 is the only Swiss participant among the 71 women.
