Finishing 1/4/2, Eivind Melleby NOR/Frithjof Kleen GER are the first leaders clearly ahead of the World Champions Augie Diaz USA/Bruno Prada BRA at equal points with Hubert Merkelbach/Markus Koy GER on the rank 2 and 3. The best of the 4 Swiss teams, Urs Hunkeler/Enrico De Maria SUI, are on rank 12, thanks to a 3rd race rank.
