F16-Catamaran - World Championship 2016 - Knokke BEL - Day 1, the Swiss

The F-16 catamaran World Championship began yesterday with finally three races completed after a start postponement due to too light winds. Finishing 2/3/1, Henri Demesmaeker/Alec Bagué BEL have taken the interim's lead one point ahead of Le Chapelier/Bouedec FRA. Good/Wirtz BEL are on rank 3. Guillaume Rol/Alexis Mégévand SUI were among the race winners and they occupy rank 4 for the moment. With Andreas Lutz/Beat Käser SUI on rank 8, another SUI team is well positioned in the top-10. 45 teams from 8 nations participate, including Australians.
