North Atlantic Record - New York USA - 'Comanche' underway since Sunday

Last Sunday, the 100-foot-maxi 'Comanche' of Jim and Kristy Clarke USA with Casey Smith USA as Boat Captain as substitute for Ken Read USA as well as Stan Honey USA as navigator started in New York to a record North Atlantic record attempt for monohulls. The existing record of 6 days, 17 hours and 52 minutes belongs to 'Mari-Cha IV'. Thanks to an ideal weather window, 'Comanche' has already an advantage of 450 miles on the old record.
