The wind on day 3 at the Laser Radial Worlds on the Ijsselmeer was again very variable, however fresher than during the previous days with up to 20 kn. Up to three races were sailed and for the first time, the Youth Boys rankings are now complete.
On top of the largest fleet with 228 participants, the Laser Radial Boys (youth) is Henry Marshall USA, 5 points ahead of Rafael De la Hoz ESP and Euwan Mcmahon IRL tied on the ranks 2 and 3. The former leader Arthur Barrué FRA dropped on the 6th place after a premature start. Grégoire Peverelli SUI finished twice on rank 9 in his group and with the discard in effect, he moved up on rank 19 overall as clear best of the Swiss delegation. Arthur Baudet SUI follows as 74th and second Swiss in the first half of the fleet.
Having won three of the four races, Caroline Rosmo NOR is the clear leader in the Radial Girls. Only Zoe Thomson AUS sails more or less on the same level. Mathilde Lovadino FRA on rank 3 is already 15 points back. Lucie Keller SUI advanced on rank 10 among the 68 participants.
The top-ranked in the Radial Men are closely together with Martin Lowy BRA as first 4 points ahead of Ronan Wallace IRL and Maarten-Bastiaan Smit NED at equal points.
