Bénéteau Figaro - Douarnenez-Horta - Leg 1 - Day 8 - Sieg für Charlie Dalin FRA

Yesterday afternoon, 'Macif' with Charlie Dalin FRA took the line honour of leg one in Horta on the Acores. Only 16 minutes later, Nicolas Lunven FRA ('Generali') crossed the finish line as 2nd. On rank 3 followed Sébastien Simon FRA. 13 of the 16 boats still in the race have terminated the race up to now. Justine Mettraux SUI had abandoned the race after with a broken forestay, but she decided to head for Horta to resume racing in the second leg back to France. She expects to reach the Acores tomorrow evening.
