Laser - Europacup 2016/Spanish Championship 2016 - Salou ESP - Day 1

Yesterday was day one of the Spanish Round of the Laser Europacup in Salou, South of Barcelona, at the same time the Spanish Laser Championship. In light winds, the Standards sailed two, the 4.7s one and the Radial apparently no races.
Joaquin Blanco ESP won both heats of the Lasers Standard, ahead of Joel Rodriguez ESP and Joan Cardona ESP. 22 participants from 3 nations. The only race of the Lasers 4.7 saw Federica Cattarozzi ITA on top in front of David Madrazo ESP and Riccardo Colombo ITA. 55 starters from 7 nations. No Laser Radial results have been published, and it appears that they did not compete.
