The 2017 'Petit Lac Championship', the Lower Lake Geneva basin, was kicked-off on Saturday with the Opening Regatta off Cransa.
Winner in the TCF1-classification was the Melges 32 of Jean-Luc Lévèque SNG followed by Christophe Ganz SNG (Melges 32) and Jean-Marc Deryng SNG (Melges 32). In the TCF2-classification, David Vulliez SNLF with his 'Tarangau' was on top ahead of Yvan Glatz CNC on a Luthi and Olivier Laurent SNG on 'Dernière Minute'. Frédy Borboën SNR on his Archambault crossed the finish line after 1h 47min as first in the TCF3-rankings and taking the line honours, in front of the Longtze of Milko Mantero SNNY on 2nd and the Melges 24 of Hans-Peter Bichelmeier SNG as 3rd. In the Surprise, Hervé Guinnard SNPr was first ahead of Caroline Cartier and Yann Bonjour CNF.
