Laser - Delta Lloyd Regatta - Medemblik NED - Day 1

As always, the Lasers have the biggest and most competitive fleets of the Delta Lloyd Regatta in Medemblik, probably also influeced by the fact, that the Laser Radial World Championship will be held here in fall. Sun and a 4-5 bft wind prevailed and 2 races per fleet were completed.
Pavlos Kontides CYP won both heats of his group and leads ahead of Elliot Hanson GBR and Jean-Baptiste Bernaz FRA and Tonci Stipanovic CRO at equal points. 99 participants from 4 continents are sailing.
Experience sailers are also on top of the Lasers Radial. Allison Young GBR won both races of her group and is on first overall ahead of Emma Plaeschart BEL and Marit Bouwmeester NED.
