The 470 World Championship in Thesssalonik GRE began yesterday in hot temperatures and an 8-10 kn seabreeze with three races.
Interim's leaders in the 470 men are Dahlberg/Bergström SWE with the ranks 1/2/1 in their group ahead of Belcher/Ryan AUS and Cinar/Cinar TUR at equal points. Kilian Wagen/Grégoire Siegwart SUI follow on rank 45 and have good chances to qualify for the Goldfleet - the 36 best - today. Their backlog is 8 points.
Hannah Mills/Eilidh McIntyre GBR won all three races in their 470 women group. Mrak/Macarol SLO are 2nd, closely followed by Wang/Gao CHN. With the ranks 13/2/13, Linda Fahrni/Maja Siegenthaler SUI are on the 15th place overall and clearly on a Goldfleet track.
