A fresh 16 to 18 kn breeze prevailed on day two of the Optimist World Championship 2017 in Pattaya THA, and at the end of the day, the kids rushed downwind ashore in a thunderstorm. The two races of the day changed the ranking lists substantially.
After 4 races sailed (still without discard), Mic Sig Kos Mohr CRC (Costa Rica) and Marco Gradoni ITA are on top at equal points. Roy Levi ISR advanced on rank 3. Today, two more races are on the program before the Groups will be reorganised in Gold-, Silver-, Bronze- and Emerald-Fleets.
