Fresh winds around 14 kn prevailed yesterday setting a different stage at the Optimist Worlds in Pattaya THA. The Swiss could not cope well with these conditions and lost positions.
Maxime Thommen SUI and Anja Von Allmen SUI, the two best after day one, got both not yet discarded premature start disqualifications and are down on the ranks 86 and 119. With two good races today, they should be able to make the Goldfleet of the 70 best at the end of the qualifications. Maxim Dneprov SUI, yesterday with the ranks 24 and 26 in his Group, adavanced on the 110th place still with chances to make the Goldfleet as well, as will Arnaud Grange on the 126th position. Adrian Surocca SUI however, also with a premature start today, is on rank 186 (top 140) and has to fight to make the Silverfleet today.
