Laser 4.7 - Youth World Championship 2017 - Nieuwpoort BEL - Day 1, kickoff with two races per fleet

Good conditions prevailed on the first day of the Laser 4.7 World Championship in Niewpoort, and both fleets completed two races each.
In the Girls, Anna Moncada ESP has taken the lead one point ahead of Julia Büsselberg EGR. Eline Verstraelen BEL follows as 3rd. 105 participants.
In the Boys, Yilkan Timursah TUR, Sofiane Karim FRA and Cesare Barabino ITA were the winners of their groups in both races, taking the overall lead jointly. 231 participants.
