Moth - World Championship 2017 - Malcesine ITA - first races today with an absolute top fleet

Today, the Moth World Championship will begin on Lake Garda, an absolute top event not only in quantity but also quality. 203 participants from 25 nations are on the entry list, among them the America's Cup winner and 49er 2016 Olympic Champion Peter Burling NZL, the 'Artemis' AC-helmsman, 49er Olympic Champion 2012 and Silver 2016 Nahtan Outteridge AUS, the Laser 2008 Olympic Champion Paul Goodison GBR, the Laser 2012 Olympic ChampionTom Slingsby AUS or the Laser 2016 Olympic Champion Tom Burton AUS (2016), to name but a few. Racing will be organised on two separate courses and the fleet split in 4 groups.
