Unconstant conditions prevailed also on the second day of the 420/470 Europeans on Lake Garda, and the Ora was not really well established.
Telis Athanasopoulos/Dimitris Tassios GRE took the overall lead in the 420s ahead of Tom Collyer/Aaron Chatwick GBR, best of the day with the ranks 2/2. On the 3rd place followed Carlos Balaguer/Antoni Massanet ESP. Nick Zeltner/Till Seger SUI had an 18th race rank but also a DNE (non discardable) disqualification penalty and dived on rank 65 overall. The best Swiss are now Achille Casco/Manuel Herbst SUI on rank 51. Today, the last qualification races for the Goldfleet, the best 55, will be sailed. Florian Geissbühler/Livio Erni SUI on rank 60 are 4 points from the cut, and also Solène Mariani/Maud Schmid SUI 11 points back can still hope for the Goldfleet.
In the 470 men, the leaders Ferrari/Calabro ITA remain on top one point ahead of Macchetti/Dantes FRA. Hazeldine/Orr GBR are new on rank 3. David Biedermann/Jann Schüpbach SUI booked a 3rd race rank and advanced on the 19th place overall. Yves Mermod7Cyrill Schüpbach SUI are now 26th. In the 470 women, Kaynakci/Aslan TUR have taken the lead. The best of the day Wanser/Wanser GER are now 2nd. On rank 3 follow Zanet/Lasery ISR.
