Laser Radial - Youth World Championship 2017 - Medemblik NED - Day 2

Sun and moderate winds around 10 kn prevailed again on day two of the Laser Radial Youth Worlds on the Ijsselmeer and the fleets held two races each.
Guido Gallinaro ITA won both heats of his Group in the Boys' fleet taking the overall lead. Matias Dietrich ARG and Caelin Winchcombe AUS follow tied 4 points behind on the ranks 2 and 3. As 2nd-best of the day (ranks 2/1), Grégoire Peverelli SUI moved up on rank 4 at equal points with Maor Ben Harosh ISR. First in the U17-rankings is Josh Armit NZL 4 points ahead of Gauthier Verhulst SUI on the 2nd place.
In the Girls, the new leader is Julia Büsselberg GER with the day ranks 1 and 2 at equal points with Kim Pletikos SLO. Matilda Nicholls GBR follows 3 points back on rank 3 and leads in the U17-rankings.
