Laser Radial - Men's & Women's World Championship 2017 - Medemblik NED - Day 2

Light winds prevailed also on the second day of the Laser Radial-Worlds on the Ijssel-Meer, allowing to complete two races.
The Olympic Medalist Evi Van Acker BEL has taken the overall lead in the women's with the day ranks 3 and 9. Manami Doi JPN follows on 2nd with a 4 points' backlog. Cristina Pujol ESP moved up on rank 3. Comeback of the Olympic Champion Marit Bouwmeester NED after the failed first day. As best of the day, she advanced on rank 24 overall.
In the men's category, Axel Rahm SWE is new on rank 1 jointly with Daniil Krutskikh RUS at equal points. Alfonso Fernandez ESP on the 3rd place is only one point back. As best of the day (1/2), the multiple Radial World Champion Marcin Rudawski POL advanced on rank 4.
