Mini 650 - Mini-Transat - La Rochelle FRA - Leg 1 - Day 1, the Swiss

Yesterday at 15h UTC, the 81 Mini-Transat Solo-Skippers started to the first leg of their Atlantic Crossing adventure in La Rochelle FRA in rain, but an ideal 10-15 kn wind during the first 12 hours of the race.
In the Protos Minis, the undisputed favorite Ian Lipinski POL with his round-bow design has already taken the lead one mile ahead of Jörg Riechers GER on rank 2. Simon Koster SUI was on the 10th place yesterday evening with a 4,5 nm backlog.
In the Series Minis, Erwan Le Draoulec FRA leads with a 0,4 nm advantage on Yannick Le Clech FRA and Oliver Tessloff GER. Valentin Gautier SUI is 7th with a 0,8 nm backlog.
