The Qualification Series to determine the Gold and Silver fleets was concluded yesterdath three races sailed in a 16-18 kn wind.
In the Lasers Standard, Tonci Stipanovic CRO remained on top 2 pts ahead of Andrew McKenzie NZL. Giovanni Coccoluto ITA follows on rank 3. Eliot Merceron SUI realised a 3rd race rank and moved up on the 18th place overall securing a solid place in the Gold fleet with the 63 best. Arthur Baudet SUI (rank 104), Cyril Knecht SUI (118) and Zeno Fry SUI (121) will continue the Championship in the Silver fleet.
In the Radial Women, the domination of Marit Bouwmeester NED continued with the ranks 1/2/1. Anne-Marie Rindom DEN keeps the pace with a 5 pts backlog on the leader. On rank 3 follows Alison Young GBR. Maud Jayet SUI on rank 22 stays in the Gold fleet, Andrea Nordquist SUI (rank 58) continues in the Silver fleet.
Marcin Rudawski POL won all three races of his group in the Radial Men and extended his lead on 7 pts. With a solid performance (ranks 2/3/4), Grégoire Peverelli SUI advanced on rank 2. Marcelo Cairo ESP follows on 3rd. The past-Optimist World Champion Nicolas Rolaz SUI is on the way up and with the 12/9/7, he is now on rank 11. Gauthier Verhulst SUI on the 21st place and Jacopo Scornaienghi SUI as 35th are also qualified for the Gold fleet.
