Mini 650 - Mini-Transat - Las Palmas ESP - Leg 2 - Day 7, the Swiss

The speed race over the Atlantic Ocean continued yesterday, and in rear winds, the Minis rush at speeds around 10kn. The fleet is more and more stretched over quite a distance with Ian Lipinski POL leading now with a 74nm advantage on Simon Koster SUI, whe endeavours to defend his position against Jörg Riechers GER 18nm back. Romain Bolzinger FRA on 4th is 50nm behind Riechers.
In the Series Minis, Erwan Le Draoulec FRA extended his lead on 24nm. New on rank 2 is now Clarisse Crémer FRA, 3rd in leg 1 and leading actually in the overall rankings. Valentin Gautier SUI remains on 8th, but his backlog has grown to 122nm. Yann Burkhalter remained on rank 26.
