Solo round the world record - François Gabart FRA - Day 7

Along the Brazilian coast, François Gabart FRA with his Maxi-Trimaran 'Macif' has again regained normal speeds above 20kn, having allowed him to catch up almost 100nm of the backlog of the slow Doldrum crossing. He was still 55nm behind the record this morning. The next obstacle is now the widely stretched St-Helena anticyclone clearly visible on the race tracker.
