Four races were held on the last day of the 29er World Championship in Hongkong.
With a row of top-4 races, Francesco Kayrouz/Jackson Keon NZL took the title of the 2018 29er World Champions with an 8 points' advantage on Lachie Brewer/Max Paul AUS. At equal points on the ranks 3 and 4 followed Benjamin Jaffrezic/Léo Chauvel FRA and Théo Revil/Gautier Guevel FRA. David Eastwood/Samuel Merson (USA), finishing seventh overall, were the top North Americans amid the 58-boat field.
Crystal Sun/Olivia Hobbs, who were the only girls to make the cut into the gold fleet, finished 21st overall and took the title as top female team.
