Finn - European Championship 2018 - Cadiz ESP - Day 1

The European Championship of the Finn Dinghies started in Cadiz yesterday. Light winds and a 3-meter swell made for challenging conditions. The victory in the only race of the day went to Nicolas Hainer NED. Facunda Olezza ARG was 2nd and Caleb Paine USA finished in 3rd place. The best German sailor was Max Kohlhoff GER in 11th position. The two Swiss managed to finish in the top half of the leaderboard. Nils Theuninck SUI is 33rd, Piet Eckert follows on rank 45 of the 91 participants from 33 nations.
