Olympic Classes - Trofeo Princesa Sofia -Palma ESP - Final results - Bronze for Fahrni/Siegenthaler SUI

Four Swiss teams - an excellent performance - participated in the Trofeo Princesa Sofia Medal Races yesterday with Linda Fahrni/Maja Siegenthaler SUI in the 470 women as 4th, aiming for a medal. Finishing 2nd in the Medal Race, they succeeded and grasped Bronze at the end of the day. Nils Theuninck SUI, sailing amidst the World's top Finn sailors during the week, had not his best day finishing 9th, and descending on rank 8 overall, his best-ever result in his young career. For the first time since years, Switzerland has again a chance to qualify for the Olympics in the Finn Class. With a solid performance and a rank 4 in the last race, Sébastien Schneiter/Lucien Cujean SUI finished on the 8th place in the 49ers. Mateo Sanz-Lanz SUI, regularily in the Medal Races of the RS:X windsurfers, finished on the 10th position.
