Linda Fahrni/Maja Siegenthaler SUI started their World Championship opening in the 470 women with an exploit demonatrating, that they are among the best in moderate winds. Their first place was followed with a 13th position in the second heat bringing them on the 3rd place overall.
The young 470 men teams began the competition with midfleet positions. Kilian Wagen/Grégoire Siegwart SUI finished 13th of their Group and are 25th overall among 64 teams. David Biedermann/Jann Schüpbach SUI follow on rank 32, Yves Mermod/Cyrill Schüpbach SUI are 59th. In the Finn Nils Theuninck SUI ist 77th.
