Fresh winds from the shore with up to 30kn prevailed yesterday for the first time at the joint Olympic Classes Worlds in Aarhus DEN.
As experienced allrounders, Sebastien Schneiter/Lucien Cujean SUI shined yesterday again with two 2nd ranks in their 49er group und moved up on rank 4 overall.
More difficulties had the RS:X windsurf light-wind specialist Mateo Sanz-Lanz SUI who is on the 36th position in the RS:X men windsurfers.
The two Laser fleets concluded the qualifications for Gold-, Silver- and Bronzefleets. Eliot Merceron SUI on rank 46 just made the Goldfleet. Nicolas Rolaz SUI (124th) and Arthur Baudet SUI (153rd) continue the Championship in the Bronzefleet. Maud Jayet SUI on rank 29 in the Lasers Radial made the Goldfleet as well. Andrea Nordquist SUI on rank 82 continues in the Silverfleet too.
Livia Naef/Nehlia Puhze SUI sail the Final races in the 49ersFX as 52nd in the Silverfleet.
Nils Theuninck SUI on lay day will - if possible after his illness - compete in the Finn Silverfleet today.
